We were treated to complimentary champagne upon our arrival and the room was wonderful. It was so spacious and comfortable! We loved our balcony overlooking with pool and the bay. The shuttle service was fantastic and helped us avoid the headache of driving and worrying about parking. The shuttle to the beach was also wonderful! The beach-side concierge service for towels and chairs is a wonderful amenity. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

Excellent hotel, incredible architecture and history. Location is perfect right on the ocean on Coronado Island but also near to downtown, the airport, point Loma , The zoo and all of the attractions. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Only negative is that the taxi cab pick up system needs to be improved. When it is busy there you can wait 30 minutes to get a taxi. Only Coronado taxes are allowed to pick you up and when the hotel is busy there is no lane for them to use so they are stuck behind guests that are checking in and checking out tying up the road in front of the hotel. However, everything else was superlative.

The staff was exceptional. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. They held our luggage. The front desk personnel were very helpful and gave us a map and directions and helped us to cancel our car service and arranged a free shuttle back to the airport. Out room was the kind deluxe with a desk and there was an easy chair, desk. There was a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was abundant, not your typical packaged sweets and coffee. There was sausage, scrambled eggs, waffle mix, toast, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt. There is a swimming pool and hot tub available, which we didn't utilize, but others seemed to be enjoying them. The evening of our check in, the staff called to inquire if everything was to our standard and to see if we needed anything. The evening before our check out, we receievd another call. The level of service is superb. Will definitely stay here again.
