if you don't mind being in the East Village, and we don't, then this is a great place to stay. Very short walk to the Super Bee high speed. Room was a bit "tired" but clean and functional. This is a condo with a full kitchen so remember to pick up any supplies before you get to the resort area. There's no "front desk" on site so find out where to pick up your keys before you go. Indoor parking is great. Be sure to stop in at the Double Diamond restaurant slopeside, very friendly place for after ski or dinner.

Condos were older style which was nice and cozy. Was not stocked for a family of 4. Everything was minimal and this and that thrown together. It was tolerable for a week but the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable. If it had been a hotel room we would have asked to switch rooms.

The one bedroom condo was great- lots of light and space. If you travel there in the summer know that there is no AC but a combo of a fan and opening the windows works fine, it cools at night. If your unit faces highway 70 you will hear it fairly loudly when the windows are open, otherwise not. The building is very close to all the restaurants and shops of central village - nice!

Copper Mountain is known for having runs suitable for skiers of all levels. This resort area is typically favored by locals, with fewer out-of-state skiers, so lines tend to be smaller. However, the area is also experiencing growth, with expanded facilities and services at the base area. Some people opt to stay in nearby Frisco, Dillon, or Silverthorne.
