"once again, emporio does the job well..."
emporio reforma is my go-to hotel in cdmx... its nice, clean, well staffed, and, most importantly, close to downtown (but not too close), to the metro, to the metrobus, and to a whole lot of shopping, food, etc. the only drawback is that its located across the street from the mexican senate - which means that if there is a demonstration/march, chances are it will pass through in-front (blocking traffic, etc). on the other hand, the fact that its on reforma means that on sundays you can run/bike/skateboard along it as they close it down for pedestrians.

"Perfect for exploring the city on a budget"
My partner and I stayed in Mexico city for 5 days to do some site seeing before heading to the coast. This hotel was perfect for our trip. Close to a busy restaurant area. Located between Zocalo square and the anthropology museum meant we were able to walk to most areas in the city. Clean and tidy hotel, lovely sized room and very comfy bed, perfect after along day exploring the city. The reception staff were really helpful when we inquired about tours and other queries. We were particularly pleased with the hotel when it came to checking in, our flight was very early in the morning and we arrived at the hotel around 5am, several hours before check in time, but we were able to check in to our room, great service!

The Hotel and Staff services were perfect. The terrible service is the Shared Shuttle, Taxi Services: AMIGO, used by Expedia: This company rendered us a terrible Taxi Services. When arrived to the Airport they appeared one hour after and we waiting outside the Airport without notice. A call from Airport Information Office around one hour after indicating that they were there. The terrible situation was at departure: the night before, November 12, 2016, I call them and spoke to a customer service representative and reconfirmed to pick up us, our flight departure was 7:00 a.m., this person indicated us to be ready at 4:00 a.m. and in the Hotel Lobby. We were four persons, wake up 2:30 a.m. to be ready as indicated. WE WERE AT THE LOBBY HOTEL SINCE 3:50 A.M., WAITING FOR THEM AND THEY NEVER APPEARED TO PICK UP US. Every 20 to 30 minutes we were in contact with customer service and their indication was: the driver is in his way to the hotel, be in the Lobby, in three minutes the Driver named: JORGE, will be there. This situation was until 5:25 a.m., we called them indicating the long waiting and their answer was that it was our responsibility because if the driver do not arrived we have to go to the Airport taking a private taxi. We paid in advance to Expedia for Shuttle. We considered it as an abuse and disrespect. EXPEDIA, is a responsible Company and this kind of service could destroy the reputation of this excellent work that day by day is making Expedia.

"Nice Hotel - Convenient Location - Large Rooms"
Located in the Villa Rosa area, lots of people, shops, restaurants. Several block from the Insurgentes subway stop. Close to Reforma street which has many large hotels and office buildings. Large room with a separate area with refrigerator, sofa and stove. Bring an English Mexica City guidebook. We couldn't find one anywhere.

"Great little hotel but..."
I had a very nice and surprising experience at this hotel. It is elegant with great taste in decor, the rooms are very large with high end tech controls for the lights, TV and audio that puts to shame any hotel I stayed in Mexico. The food quality is first class and even though their menu is limited any dish I had both in the room or any of their restaurants was fantastic. The hotel is brand new so it was missing a few things like: phone directory, adequate heating solutions for the very cold days and for such large rooms and most importantly they did not have enough staff mainly in the restaurants to provide the level of service the rest the hotel wants to convey. The guys working there did what they could but at times you can tell they were simply overwhelmed with the amount of work and could just simply could not provide the quality service they wanted to offer and hence the service would simply look to the outsider as very poor. I'm sure they will work on this and really become a small star which will be hard to get rooms at for its great demand soon.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Colonia Juarez, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Colonia Juarez hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
