"AMAZING Hotel! Fantastic all around"
The night we arrived happened to be "complimentary happy hour". Free beer/wine you say? Don't mind if I do! Oh... and lemonade for the kids. The room was perfect. Two, firm Queen beds with comfortable pillows and sheets. Included an L-shaped couch, table, microwave, fridge, and table. Since we were from Canada, I would have liked an in-room safe for our passports that was not there. They offer safety deposit boxes at the front, but we are skeptical of that type of arrangement when we travel. The "continental" breakfast... WOW! Sausages, biscuits, eggs, bacon, make your own Belgian waffles (3 types of batter), yogurt, 4 kinds of cereal, multiple choices for milk, coffee, tea, breads, flavour coffee syrup, etc. Cooked oatmeal with nuts, raisins, dried cranberries, coconut, brown sugar, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, etc). This was HEAVEN! However, nothing is ever perfect. The cleaners left their glass cleaner bottle in our bathroom, did not supply enough shampoo for the 4 of us even when we left a note, and we came back to a cracked drinking glass on our sink the one day. They come around 9am to clean your room, so you need to be up at it or you're on your own. The front desk took care of the cracked glass and seemed genuinely concerned about it. To be clear, I'm not complaining about the housekeeping - mistakes happen - and it was very clean. But the mistakes are the only reasons it gets a 4 instead of a 5 in cleanliness
