"4 night family holiday to Barcelona"
This is an excellent hotel close to the main attractions of Barcelona. The staff, doorman, reception and bar, were very courteous and welcoming. They very quickly checked us in and showed us to our rooms which were excellent. We asked for a kettle and cups, these were brought up to the room immediately. This is a great place to stay in Barcelona.

"We have been here before, good clean hotel"
Only thing bad was the cold food at breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast) You expect better than this with it being a bit pricey. Near everything ,felt safe here. Loved the room we had, very spacious.

"Great Hotel, great location"
We enjoyed the location - so close to everything. We took long walks to the gothic quarter or beach daily. Staff were helpful and delightful. Quick responses to all requests. Our teenager loved the automatic light blocking shades on the small window. Not much of a view but we were not in the room much. They restocked the free minibar daily. It was a really nice touch - free waters and the teen demolished the pringles and candy daily. We had two single beds - it was just my son and I so the room was perfect. The beds felt sumptuous with all the sheets and blankets. Shower was beautiful and new - bathroom was larger than standard European bathroom. Huge towels - made us happy!

"Vintage Hotel"
Very nice Vintage hotel on a passenger walk side street. Liked the location, close to all the winding streets, shops, sites and restaurants. Directly across from the hotel was El Moos, a great little place for chocolate filled croissants, coffee and ham and cheese, pizza for morning or light lunch. Great prices! The hotel itself had a great entrance, marbled floor with chandeliers, silk fabric chairs with contemporary tables in the sitting rooms. Marbled stair cases and a quaint old elevator. The room was on the fifth floor. Very small bathroom, with a bidet, extra small bathtub/shower combo. Ok for a short stay for two people. The twin beds were comfortable, a small desk in the corner with the flat screen tv on the wall, but not placed where you could see from both beds very well. We had a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and passenger walk. That was nice. The tiled floor looked like carpet.

"Great location "
The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The location of the hotel is excelent, we were able to take the bus and metro a couple of blocks from the hotel. The rooms was a bit old, but very clean with big windows that made the stay very comfortable. The best thing about this hotel was the front desk staff, they went out of their way to explain any questions we might have had. We had an overall excellent experience.

Ciutat Vella is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ciutat Vella, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ciutat Vella hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
