This hotel is a page from a storybook. Located in a beautiful quaint small town with a breathtaking landscape and outdoors. The street the hotel is on is lined with beautiful English cottages which begs one to take walk or ride a bike. The restaurant is located in a different building across a narrow country road which adds more charm to this hotel. The hotel staff were super nice and friendly. Beautiful decorations all over the hotel. The room was very clean but a bit stuffy. There was this smell that perhaps can be contributed to the carpeting. The bathroom was small and inconvenient. When getting out of the large bathtub, basically there was not a whole lot of space for one to dry himself. A smaller shower and sink would have given the bathroom a more spacious feel. Overall it is a great hotel and we enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful room on ground floor...hall has double doors so it is well insulated from noise from rest of hotel. Quiet, peaceful sleep...comfy bed...clean bath with various items for our use. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Front desk called for taxi when we needed it...free breakfast buffet was great...you can even order a custom made omlet at no charge...biggest omlet I have seen!

My daughter and I were on a school visiting trip from Kenya. My only complaint would be that she would like to board there the next five years. I thought with three stars things would be a little shoddy, rough around the edges. My only real complaint that it was hot as it was 33 degrees and there was no AC- but I'd imagine you don't normally need it. We stayed in the main house in a charming room with lots of little extra amenities- the radio, nice snacks and lovely toiletries. I loved all the decor- lots of little unique touches that made everything so visually appealing. We had a great dinner from the hotel bar and a delicious breakfast the next morning. My daughter's eyes nearly popped out as we drove up and I kept saying it might not be that nice inside but it was really gorgeous and the staff were incredibly efficient and nice.

Chipping Norton is a quiet market town in the rolling Cotswold Hills. Peppered with medieval buildings, it makes a convenient base for exploring this picturesque area. The Crown and Cushion hotel was once owned by The Who drummer Keith Moon and a bronze age stone circle, The Rollright Stones, can be found a couple of miles outside town. A market is held every Wednesday.
