Had one extra night in the CBD and needed a place to relax after a fun but long and hot vacation - I booked the business suite here and was incredibly impressed! Nice welcome package to the suite (fruits, water, chocolate) and the staff was sure to check in that everything in the room was to my liking. Lots of space in the living area with a nice desk to check up on emails and plan departures. Great amenities in the bathroom. The bath itself is a little dated but very clean and comfortable to use. The pillowtop bed was heavenly to sleep on at night. The location is great with quick access to Darling Harbor, Museum train station, Paddy's Market and Westfield's on Pitt, additionally the hotel is located right at the beginning of the Chinese/Korean town with lots of good restaurants and markets. Very good price for the amenities and location. Would stay at this location again!

"Nice hotel, well situated"
We booked this hotel at the last minute over the busy new year period. We were delighted with everything about the hotel and its location was perfect. We were able to walk darling harbour, China town and the Chinese garden and were very close to the main station and 2 metro stations.

"Average Hostel, Great Location, Recommended"
This is one of my favourite hostels and I would recommend it if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay in sydney. It is in the heart of the Sydney CBD so its in a very good location, the hostel itself is average but I have really enjoyed my time (stayed twice so far, for almost 2 months in total). The good - Cheap (one of the cheapest in sydney) - Very good location - A good bunch of travellers, social and friendly and mostly respectful - Big common area with smokers balcony - Cheap supermarket only 2 mins walk The Bad (I wanted to be thorough, but if your looking for a good experience in sydney, then there is a little bad to contend with) - 8 Bathrooms, around 70-80 Guests (max I waited for a bathroom was 20 mins) - Very noisy, you are in the center of Sydney, fire engines are ridiculously loud, and you can hear alot of noise from the street) - Can get messy (The whole place is cleaned every day, but with the number of people staying at the hostel it still gets messy) - Kitchen are is Tiny - 4 hobs, only 2 fridge freezers, and there is always a food theif or two about - WiFi is pretty crap, its usable but don't expect to be able to watch netflix, and it breaks alot - Common areas close at 11pm, great if you want an early night, but considering all of Sydneys nightlife closes at 3am (last entry 1.30am) no chance of an afterparty. Despite its shortcomings this was one of my favourite hostels to visit and revisit, but will depend on your taste.

"A reasonably comfortable hotel."
It is well located within the Sydney CBD but for the price it could be better furnished. Very noisy on week-ends most particularly Friday and Saturday. Parking is at a very minimum and they do not cater too well for large vehicle parking. Have only met some member of the staff on two occasions. My personal opinion is that it is really a budget apartment.

Chinatown is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Chinatown, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Chinatown hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
