"Area needs some cleaning up, but we felt safe."
For the price in NYC, this hotel is a bargain. It is not luxurious, but we were on the go so much that it would have been a waste of money to spend more on a hotel. The breakfast was good and varied. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. They answered many of our questions and gave us honest advice and suggestions. Our room was always clean when we returned from being gone all day. When we needed extra shampoo and conditioner, the staff generously gave us more. We were within walking distance from the subway and the Big B Tour Bus bus stop. We used Uber for more distant and late-at-night transportation. Our hotel was on the edge of China Town. Although the neighborhood area itself needs some sprucing up, we always felt safe, even walking from the subway to the hotel at night. It is located in the Down Town area. If given an opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.

"Perfect location for experiencing Lower Manhattan!"
This was the first visit to New York for my daughter and me. The location is perfect for experiencing Lower Manhattan. From the hotel we walked to Greenwich Village, East Village, Little Italy, Chinatown and Battery Park, Ground Zero. The room was small, very clean and cozy. The staff are always available and helpful.

"Budget hotel so don't expect to mucheck. "
It's a budget hotel so don't expect too much. The staff were great and our room was very clean on arrival and kept so by the cleaning staff. There is a TV lounge where free hot drinks are provided together with a cold drinks dispenser. I can only speak about our room which was a tad small for our liking. The bathroom however was OK. Very clean with loads of hot water, new towels, shampoos etc every day. The main downer for us was the proximity to the Manhatten Bridge. The trains run 24/7 and the first night in particular, seemed like they were in the same room. Got used to them I suppose because on subsequent nights they didn't seem as bad. We were more tired? Overall if you don't mind the train noise, it's good value for money.

"Comfortable hotel in nice location. "
Stayed at Leon with my twin 6 year old boys. Room was clean and quiet. We had an amazing view of the Manhattan Bridge. There is limited service at the hotel. If you want extra towels, you may have to wait until morning. There is no room delievery (if you need extra soap etc. ) The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a playground 1 block away that my kids loved! The subway was about a 5-10 min walk depending on which train you wanted. I do wish the hotel was closer to the subway. However, it is right in the beginning of Chinatown so it's not too noisy. And little Italy is just a few blocks away. I would stay again!

Chinatown is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Chinatown, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Chinatown hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
