My stay was overall okay. Decent view from my premier corner room but when I requested for river side instead of park side they shut me down a little too snippy for my liking. Also, I did not like how cleaning service still came into my room when “do not disturb sign” was left on door. Imagine my surprise when I returned to my room with the sign suddenly off the door? The unwanted clean up was still appreciated I suppose but I did feel a little uncomfortable because I had left important things out in my room that I wouldn’t have normally if I’d known they come in your room to clean up whether you want it or not. Take that into consideration. Honestly I’ve stayed at better hotels around the same area (radisson blue aqua), so this might very well be my first and last time at swissotel.

Decent hotel

It was a nice hotel. Could use some upgrades as you can tell it’s older by some of the fixtures. Shower is TINY!!! I’m a small person and could barely move around in there. Had to call maintenance in middle of the night to get A/C to stop blowing, as it was a chilly night in Chicago. Overall decent stay, just needs some upgrades.

The hotel is very well located, modern, and clean. Our room featured a comfortable king bed with plenty of space. The bathroom was spotless, and there are many dining options nearby.

All around a great location with incredible views. We stayed in a king suite on the 30th floor with views of both the city and lake thanks to architect that designed the building as a triangle that overlooks the Chicago river.

Overall, I like the potential of the views. I have stayed here several times, but this time I paid extra for the views and I was put in a room staring at a building right across from me. I could of paid a lot less somewhere else for that kind of view.
