Great service and very good hotel, try to get a room overlooking the race course, doesn't matter if there no racing great view. Book breakfast at the hotel not before as it's only £10 at the hotel, cooked fresh good selection of fruits etc. Really enjoyed our stay with a great steak house round the corner I can recommend.

The hotel was basic but comfortable. We had a family room for the 3 of us and it had double and single beds in. In need of a makeover and TLC but it was clean. Slept well, bed comfortable. The amount of time we spent in the hotel, it suited us as we were shopping etc.
Didn't have breakfast. Staff friendly especially the girl in the bar.
No car park but the pub next door had a car park where you could park for £5 all day and the train station car park costs £5 for 24 hours.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Roseville and from the moment we arrived we were given five star treatment. Tracy and Jerry welcomed us with a pot of coffee and cake in the conservatory before showing us to our room, which was immaculate and included complementary toiletries, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, red and white wine, beer, soft drinks, fruit and chocolates, as well as a comprehensive guide to pubs, restaurants and things to do. We also chose our breakfast times on both days and again, everything was top quality; fresh fruit salad, yogurts, choice of cereals, full English breakfast, toast, tea or coffee. Tracy and Jerry even realised that it was my birthday and presented me with a birthday card at breakfast!
The little personal touches make a big difference and in our opinion anyone visiting Roseville will leave, feeling they've been very well looked after and have had excellent value for money. Thank you so much Tracy and Jerry, you made our weekend extra special and you deserve every success.

Sitting on the banks of the River Dee, Chester is a beautiful city and the gateway to North Wales. The striking city walls envelop the medieval town, offering superb views of Chester Racecourse and the famous Eastgate Clock for those who walk the circuit. Grosvenor Park gives way to 20 acres of greenery, where visitors can ride the miniature railway and admire the fountains and streams along the way.
