This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the UK. The hotel is new and modern and very well appointed, and is located only five to ten minutes from the city center. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Chester. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. However, avoid school holiday Mondays as waiting for breakfast was like being at Disneyland Paris - had to wait 20 mins for a table, and the noise...! Also if booking a Classic Double don't expect much space in the room. The bathroom was half the size of the bedroom and there was practically no hanging space in the wardrobe. Having said that I will probably return as the location is perfect.

Sitting on the banks of the River Dee, Chester is a beautiful city and the gateway to North Wales. The striking city walls envelop the medieval town, offering superb views of Chester Racecourse and the famous Eastgate Clock for those who walk the circuit. Grosvenor Park gives way to 20 acres of greenery, where visitors can ride the miniature railway and admire the fountains and streams along the way.
