We booked the Karass Inn on a whim during an extended weekend jaunt through New England. We wanted a quaint (my wife's word) place to rest our head for the Vermont leg of our leaf peeping journey - the Karass provided.
The Innkeeper was a pleasant and accommodating (bonus points for providing us with directions to Boston Logan without having to drive through the hell that is inner Boston traffic), the bed was soft, and the breakfast was delicious.
We had no cellular service, but the Inn provided wifi.
One final thing: I didn't spot a single television in the Inn. Nice!

The amenities, facilities and staff where all excellent. Ski-in/ski-out is a great convenience. These facilities are located right by the base lodge but for restaurants, gym, and more people, stay on the other side of the mountain at the Jackson hotel. It also has ski in and ski out.

Came with 2 adults and 4 kids and stayed in a condo. Reserved a 2BR but got upgraded to a 3BR (without asking). Condo was really nice with higher-end finishes like crown moldings, nice furniture, etc. Kitchen supplies need an upgrade in this unit; for instance there was no spatula and the frying pans were all a bit of a mismatch. Owner probably needs to simply take a little inventory of supplies. Nevertheless, this was minor and we made due as usual in ski rentals! Great WiFi in the unit. 5-8 mins drive to the mountain. There is a pool and hot tub in the hotel, which is a short walk/drive down the hill.
I was with my buddy and our kids and we could have easily brought our wives and other kids and still would not have felt crowded. There is a loft that could easily fit an air mattress as well. Overall a great place to stay and we will stay again. Thanks!

The hotel is pretty nice and the rooms are generally clean. There's some unfinished trim and carpentry in the hallways. The biggest issue I had was the lack of sound proofing in the room. I could hear the TVs in the adjacent rooms, alarms going off, and people walking by in the hallways very clearly and it was distracting while trying to sleep. The lobby was clean and the restaurant was nice, although slow.
