Easy access to downtown, beautiful pool. Great food and drinks on sight. It felt like a mini resort. The decor was really fun, I appreciated the small touches like nice soap, mason jars, amazingly comfortable pillows. There were a few times the staff was unsure of things like how/ where/ what the complimentary coffee situation was. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent peoximity to the Spokane airport. Stayed the night before my return flight. Literally a few hundred feet from the rental car drop - make a right and it's right there.
Nice staff, clean top to bottom, beautiful layout. Decent breakfast and starts earlier than many hotels (5:30 am).
Only cons were the showerhead needed replacing in my room - heavy leak from a non-threaded joint that I didn't notice when I turned it on and water got all over the floor.
Second thing was the vynil window coverings didn't completely close and no matter what I did there was a 2 inch gap right down the middle. This let in quite a bit of light as my room faced the pool, but if you were wanting to sleep in, forget about it. Wound up folding the flaps over one another and stacking a pillow in front which took some finagling. Would have changed rooms if it wasn't already 1 am.
Overall, very nice and with an Expedia rate that was the same as the Ramada nearby, the Wingate is a no-brainer. Cleaner, closer and more comfortable (stayed at the Ramada last time).
Will stay here again next time.

Spokane was the last leg of a cross-country trip from Memphis. I stayed here with my 3 boys and found it to be very comfortable and easy to find from the freeway.
The hotel is pretty spread-out (think apt complex) and that might be a challenge for some people.
We basically just slept here and didn't use any of the hotel amenities, so I can't say much for that. I will say that our floor definitely reeked of pot, but hey, it's legal here and there was noise/partying, etc. so it didn't bother me.

We stay here all the time. I really don't want everyone to know, but I will tell the truth. This place is fantastic. A true sanctuary away from home. Never found a better place in every state that we have ever visited.

Overall I had a great experience, hotel is a remodel of an older hotel and you can tell they put in a lot of work to bring it up to date. I only had an overnight stay and it did the job. Room was clean, I love the no smoking policy it was refreshing. The only issue was with the front desk person (a male) when I checked in buuuut it seemed he was experiencing a bad allergy reaction or had just injured his left eye before I came in so that could explain his standoffish attitude, he did let me check in a half hour early so, yeah I recommend. By the way it is right in the middle of Downtown so that's a plus.
