Highly recommend Chatham Bars Inn! Stay in the cottages along the water and start each day with a view of the sunrise, fishing boats, and harbor seals. Walk to the pool, beach, and the buffet breakfast. Walk to Main Street in town for even more restaurants, ice cream and candy shops, and great browsing in stores you can only find on the Cape. Staff was excellent and very professional. Everyone - check-in staff, pool and beach staff, restaurant staff, kids camp staff, were extremely friendly, accomodating and treated us like VIPs.

I was looking to get away for a few days in August. I wanted to have the beach as well as a cute town within walking distance. The Queen Anne Inn was perfect. Conveniently located near town, variety of beaches along the Atlantic within 30 min of the inn and it had the quaint New England feel that I was looking for. The rooms are adorable but could use some updating while preserving the charm. The staff was wonderful! I was upgraded to a larger room and they had a delicious breakfast. I would will definitely be back and recommend this inn to others.

A pleasant older hotel, well-kept, in a great location. A small room with sea breezes, and a view of the ocean. Walk to a quiet beach, town (Chatham is amazing) and the Chatham light. Very clean and well kept. But our room was two narrow flights of stairs up, had no AC, and no chair, table, or desk. That was fine for us, but definitely a need-to-know-in-advance situation. I am a retiree, but no offer to help with bags, the free breakfast started late, and the half-and-half was spoiled. Attention to detail would raise this to a 5 star rating. I would definitely book again, though.

This is an historic grand house that's been tastefully converted for use as a b&b. Two common rooms - living rooms are in the center of the home, and a sunny room overlooking the garden serves as the breakfast room. I'd read that the home-cooked breakfasts here were quite a draw, and the hosts did not disappoint. Each morning we enjoyed a tasty 2-course meal (there are also a few menu choices) that was quite hearty. Our hosts and the staff were exceedingly gracious and accommodating, ready to assist with advice to first-timers to Chatham. They also lived many years on Nantucket and were helpful to us in decision-making for our day-trip there.
We stayed in the Cisco Room (1) which included the front porch for our private use. The room and bathroom were comfortable, spacious, and we really did feel the homey-ness was better than a hotel room. Since it was summer we didn't need the fireplace, but it did add to the charm of the room.
Parking for our rental car was in an assigned space, just a few steps from the front door. The location of Chatham Gables Inn is great for those who like to walk to the water or walk around the neighborhood. For drivers, it is also conveniently close to the main road in and out of town.
I would unreservedly recommend Chatham Gables Inn to anyone looking for an authentic taste of this charming Cape Cod town!

Surrounded on three sides by the ocean, Chatham is the elbow of the Cape Cod arm. Fishing rivals tourism as the major industry, ensuring that local restaurants have plenty of fresh seafood. Chatham Light Beach and eight other beaches attract visitors during the warmer months. Cape-style buildings on downtown’s Main Street house an assortment of independently-owned shops, galleries, and restaurants.
