Right in the centre of Little Italy. Close to restaurant, public transportation, breakfast just behind lobby, ATM is cross street to the hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, 10 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend.

Pleased with stay, parking and restaurants very expensive but what you'd expect in the area I guess - restaurants charge service fee AND tip - so additional USD$100 for our family for an average Italian meal - look around (not the Hotels fault obviously).
Only disappointment was trying to get hold of someone to talk to regarding one of our bags that went missing when we were loading them in to the car - haven't received our call back that we need to verify for our insurance company - hate the fact that hotels hide behind email etc - unobtainable when you need them. We received a courtesy text asking about our stay and whether there was anything they could help with when we arrived back in LA later on the day of check out, responded asking whether anyone had seen our bags, no response - still no response!! Feel like they don't care as long as they get their money for the stay - very disappointed as thousands out of pocket now! All we wanted was an acknowledgement that we'd registered it as missing and help with advising police etc... :-(

Only a one night stay but this hotel is really cool and has a lot of character. Rooftop was sweet with great views, if only there was a bar up there. Luckily there's a liquor store nearby so you can throw your own soi·rée in a pinch! It's also a quick walk to countless bars and restaurants. The location is superb to say the least.
A buddy and I got the queen bed suite which had a cool living area and a kitchenette. Even the sofa bed was pretty damn comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a short or long stay in San Diego.

San Diego’s downtown has undergone extensive urban renewal during the past 20-plus years, beginning with the opening of Horton Plaza and the revival of the Gaslamp Quarter. The San Diego Convention Center is here and the downtown area’s once abandoned area has been resurrected to include waterfront skyscrapers, expensive lofts, five-star hotels, and many cafes, restaurants, and boutiques.
