The hotel sits inside of the walls of the old fortress. The facility incorporates an art district that includes works by artists working there as well as other art and objects. The hotel itself is very modern and includes expected amenities like pool, spa, restaurant. Staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous.
Getting in and out of Cascais to greater Lisbon is a snap. The rail station is an easy five minute walk and there are commuter trains to greater Lisbon a few times each hour. After a busy day in Lisbon it was nice to hope on the train back to Cascais beautiful and historic waterfront surrounding the hotel property.

wonderful place to stay - beautiful location overlooking the Atlantic, ten-minute walk into Cascais, breakfast each morning was perfect to start your day. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information that we needed to explore (best options for getting to Sinatra).
The small suite we had worked perfectly for the three of us (my wife and I and our seventeen year-old son).
An absolutely wonderful place to say for a visit to Cascais.

A great boutique hotel overlooking the little beach at the centre of Cascais - if you have a room at the front of the hotel as we did you can hear the waves at night.
The staff were really friendly and always willing to help, both in the restaurant and at the front desk.
I would happily make a return visit.

We had a great stay at Pergola House in Jan, 2017. on arrival we got upgraded to the premium suite by the lovely lady at the reception. Was a superb stay there and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and sights. Also they did a lush breakfast and serve a port at 6pm for all guests. Felt like family during our stay so keep up the good work and see you on our next visit to Cascais.
