"Good hotel. Some annoyances."
Very comfortable interior. We stayed there 3 nights. Pool was great. Staff were excellent. Internet expensive but ok. No movies on demand was annoying and TV reception quality could have been better.

"Grand historic hotel"
As expected, grand colonial building Fabulous staff, so charming and helpful. Impeccable service, unusual these days and high standards of cleanliness which makes up for the noisy air con and rattly ceiling fans! Which of course add to the charm

76 Telok Ayer Street, Singapore - Map
"One of the best boutique hotels"
Amoy is a real treat. Set in a heritage building with a funky retro refit, it is in a excellent location directly opposite an MRT station and an easy walk to Marina Bay and Chinatown. Quirky touches such as the personalised hand written messages guests receive each evening and each room having its own name add to the architectural drama of the building. Rooms are in a modern loft-style and have all amenities you will need. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and seem to genuinely want to make you feel welcome here. Each day starts with a hearty breakfast and all inclusions in the mini bar are yours for the taking, free of charge. Amoy is my new go-to place when I'm in Singapore. For atmosphere, environment, staff, location and affordability, I've not found anything better in Singapore.

"Amazing hotel right on Marina Bay"
My wife and I spent NYE at the Mandarin Oriental and were very satisfied with our stay. On arrival we were greeted from our taxi by staff who took our bags to our room, and checking in was very efficient. The room was very comfortable (literally a bed that you could sink into it was that comfortable) and had a big bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower cubicle. The pool area was amazing with great, very attentive, service from staff and the view of Marina Bay was excellent - we were able to see the midnight fireworks clearly from the comfort of the hotel pool area with drinks served from the bar. The concierge was very helpful in arranging tickets for attractions and provided us with maps when we needed them. The buffet meal at Melt cafe on NYE (with flowing alcohol) was plentiful, with so much on offer - it was delicious and testament to the quality of the food served there. We booked ourselves in the Spa on NYE during the day and came out exceedingly relaxed - I'd definitely recommend the Spa; there are plenty of treatments and the staff are very professional. Checking out was straight forward, and our experience was only marred by a bottle of champagne that was added to our room bill on NYE (which we definitely didn't order) - staff were apologetic about this, and are still (to my knowledge) looking into it. Lastly, as we had a late flight home we were able to leave our bags securely at the hotel during the day for no charge. Overall, an excellent experience!

"Convenient location for work in the CBD, but old"
Facility is very convenient and good value for money compared to other hotels in the CBD. However it is not a full service hotel and housekeeping staff do not replace shampoos, soap etc. same with coffee in the room although free coffee is available in the lobby and residents' lounge. In general quality of service is not what you'd expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel. However wait and reception staff do remember your name.

Central Business District is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Central Business District, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Central Business District hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
