Minutes from the Cedar Rapids (Eastern Iowa) airport. Best in the area for dining and stay. A short trip to downtown activities without the congestion of the hotels on the north side (Collins Rd) or the midnight train whistles from the grade crossing in the downtown area.

My daughter had a gymnastic meet a mile away and we stayed overnight. The room was great, the food was great, the pool was fantastic and the staff was very helpful and polite. Just need to vacuum under the beds a lot of hair and dust. It was a great stay and I will only stay at these hotels from now on.

We were in a handicapped assessable room. I'm not sure why. It was recently refurbished and relatively nice. However, staff apparently forgot to provide bath towels. The shower one was also broken. We also received three unwanted wake up calls through the night. The first being at 2:30 AM. Walls in the building are very thin as we were able to hear everyone else's alarm go off as well. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Set downtown just blocks from the Cedar River is the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, with over 5,600 pieces of art that include the world's largest collection of works by Cedar Rapids' own Grant Wood. Across the river is Veterans Memorial Stadium--home to the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball team--as well as the Czech Village, an area centered around the city's Czech, Moravian, and Slovak heritage.
