"Nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of Catania"
This is a very nice comfortable and conveniently hotel in the heart of Catania. Most of tourist attractions are walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby offering local cuisine. The breakfast is very tasty with variety of local products and Italian sweets. The staff is very much helpful professional and reliable. Gabriele from the reception desk is always greeting guests with a smile and willing to help with anything one might need. The rooms are small but comfortable. Please note that this is a local hotel situated in a historical and very important renovated building thus do not expect specious rooms and modern ambience like in Hilton or Four Seasons. The wifi is very good all over the venue. Great place for a romantic stay

"Great Art Deco Hotel wonderful staff"
The photographs of the interior of this hotel and the fact that its a small hotel were the main reasons I booked this hotel. The photographs are accurate, the hotel is beautiful inside, art deco style with furnishings and fittings to match built around 1912 . You immediately feel yourself relaxing as you enter the hotel because you know its going to be wonderful. We had a standard room, No 103, and each of the rooms have a name. The room was fabulous, heavy curtains, traditional furnishings and a nice firm bed. I had the best 3 nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel because the bed was so good. The room was on the ground floor but there was hardly any street noise at all. The bathroom was fine, spotlessly clean with mosaic tiles and a bidet if you wanted it. The staff were excellent at this hotel, so attentive and very helpful with advice and information. Breakfast was continental and buffet style and I was really pleased to see proper cloth napkins and decent, quality cutlery. I detest paper napkins and I was so pleased that everything in this hotel was traditional and quality. The selection at breakfast was large and there was something to suit everyone. It was my girlfriends birthday the day after we arrived and the manager had spotted that fact when scanning our passports on check-in. He did not say a word but on the next morning all of the staff we saw wished her a happy birthday. That evening we found a Happy Birthday letter and a bottle of wine in our room compliment

"Hotel nice, neighborhood not so! "
I loved the hotel, its decoration, great staff. The problem is its location, quite dark at night and a little away from main áreas.

"Historical Sites Nearby"
The building was built in 1836 which is converted to 10 bedrooms. Our clean bedroom #1 was very spacious overlooking the Etnea street. The building front is being upgraded and our bedroom looks out at the staging. There is a 24" tube type TV but the video & sound is good and all in Italian channels with free WiFi. There is no coffee pot & a safe to store your vauables. There is plenty of light in the room which had 2 twin beds and a 2 twin beds together to make 1 bed the size of a queen which is comfortable. The clean washroom with lots of towels with the latest regular toilet and bidet. The shower stall is not large and a large person would have difficult time entering. The closet has amble storage for luggage and clothing. The staff are easy to talk with and will go out of their way to answer all your needs. The owner is Marco with employees Massimo and Nish and all speak English. They are working 24/7 in the office. When you arrive at the hotel - ring the intercom on the right side of the door wall and state your name. The latch will open to the huge door and push hard to enter. Walk 5 paces and on the right push open the door which leads you to the marble stairway to walk up to the 1st floor. Ring the buzzer on the right side of the door and the door will slightly open. Entering you are greeted by one of the employee. You can come back to the hotel any part of the day and you go through the same procedure. The Bus stop is in front of the hotel.

Catania is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Catania, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Catania hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
