This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here with our son. My son sleeps in a crib and they've always had one available for us. We asked to be on the third floor because the last time we were on the bottom floor and the guests above us were loud. It was clean and quiet. A very pleasant stay. We will definitely stay there again the next time we're in Carpinteria.

First road access is closed so I have to travel about a mile out of my way. Old discarded furniture is sitting on the southern wall. Inside where there used to be banana trees is again, garbage. Many rooms without room service despite a restaurant on site. You can't beat the view and employees are very nice and helpfull. Wish the creamy beige walls didn't have old dark blue carpet. Could use an upgrade.

I couldn't have been happier about our post wedding stay at this landmark hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was fabulously friendly and charming. We were treated with tremendous kindness at every step of our two day stay. The facility is exquisite, every detail attended to. Nothing here is inexpensive, but if you're going to splurge, do it here! It's beyond beautiful, and the staff treats you like you're royalty. My only hope is that their food improves a bit. Being from the Northern Cal food Mecca of Berkeley, my dining standards were not met. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was amazing like everything else here.

Terrific little hotel just two blocks from the beach. Rooms are a little small, but have been recently renovated. Their breakfast was small, but wonderful (not your normal hotel breakfast)! Greg was a wealth of information regarding sights to see and places to eat. We'll be staying here again!
