"Great location for hiking the Appalachian Trail!"
Convenient to trail heads, close to downtown Carlisle. We brought two dogs and the pet fee was $35 total for the entire stay, which is great! Hot tub felt great every afternoon after a long hike on the AT. Breakfast was more than sufficient and the room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. The breakfast was great and the room was very clean. The parking lot and grounds were well-kept.
There were areas of the hotel that were very unusual, such as old desks and furniture stacked up in the room where the vending machines were supposed to be. The pool seemed to have excessive chemicals in the water, and the tiles had a build-up of scum on them. There were obvious areas in the ceiling over the pool where the plaster and drywall had fallen out and were in a general state of disrepair. Some of the exterior doors didn't work half the time with the access card.
The HVAC unit in the room appeared to be original (guessing 1990s?) and had an odd odor when running, even though the room was non-smoking.

I normally dont stay at Days Inn and Best Western. Mostly, they are rated as 2-stars, but even when some travel sites classify them as 3 stars, I don't bother. But this one had some good reviews and good pics, so I decided to try it. It turned out to be quite nice. The carpet was clean and modern. The lighting was soothing. The room was large and clean.
