Our stay at the My Place in Amarillo was nice. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. This is our second stay at a My Place (the other was in Bend, OR) and I am very happy with their customer service and the quality of their hotels. Our room looked identical to the room in Bend, so we know what to expect. There were several restaurants around and a movie theater right across the street.

Very clean. Comfy. One issue, my fault, I smashed my fingers in bathroom door as I did not realize the angle was diagonal. Y’all might consider this in new construction. Breakfast looked amazing but the gravy was flavorless and watery. Great employees.

it's a $29 a night cheap motel. And that's exactly what you get. the room was clean, everything very quiet after 10pm. able to get good night sleep. it smells of cigarette smoke everywhere. even inside the non smoking room.

Canyon, located south of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle, is the home of West Texas A&M University; the outdoor musical drama “Texas;” and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, the oldest and largest museum in the state. The 30,000-acre (121-km2) Palo Duro Canyon State Park is about 12 miles (19 km) east of Canyon. To the west is Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge, a valuable wintering area for migrating waterfowl.
