"Charming little gem close to Cannon Beach center."
Inn at Haystack Rock has unique charm in this era of cookie cutter big box hotels. Unique custom made furniture in the room combines with the convenience of a cleverly designed kitchenette and charming courtyard to make this inn a "must have" when we go to Cannon Beach. No place is quite like this and so close to both the beach and the arts centers of the town. Park the car and forget it. Cannon Beach, as the beach itself, is to be experienced on foot. Very quiet at night, too.

Our room was clean. It was a short walk to the beach and Haystack Rock. Check in was great...they answered all our questions on places to eat and visit. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating to book a 2nd night with little notice. Nice rooms that were right near the beach and great price for 2 nights. I stayed in Portland in a runned down hotel for the same price as 2 nights here. Satisfied customer.

Check in was a breeze. The staff got us to our room with all the information we needed about the hotel. The two glasses helped after a long drive. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was very good. If you want to have a very good time stay at this hotel.

Cozy and quaint, comfortable but simple. Reasonably good for 4 people on a budget. Close to the beach but also town center. Clean units. There is free breakfast at the Inn but that's about a mile away (South). Better off having bkf at Pig N' pancakes. For a first recon trip to Cannon Beach it worked out very well.

Cannon Beach's 235-foot basalt Haystack Rock attracts photographers, birdwatchers, and artists to the sandy shores of the North Oregon Coast. A thriving arts community and proximity to 1,304-acre Ecola State Park also draw visitors to Cannon Beach, located 79 miles west of Portland. Beachgoers spend their days flying kites or building sand castles and return as the sun sets to build bonfires.
