"Room is good but some of staff is not good"
When I checked in hotel, the staff was very good enough. But, even I stayed suitroom and I asked checked out lately-due to I saw guard line of staying- the staff who was other staff said I couldn't check out lately. She was very unkind and speaked out very unlikely. Moreover, when I checked in, it was raining and food truck parked in front of main enterrence, I couldn't handle my baggues but nobody helped me. It was so weired, and I feel getting worst. So, I just want to say, room is not bad, but the staffs have to be more educated what is the duty and service, and why they should help and welcoming guests.

"Centrally Located, Well-Appointed, Great Service!"
When I first arrived at Kingsway Hall, to be honest, I wasn't super-impressed. The hotel is on a quiet side street, didn't seem to be in the "center of everything" and the decor looked a bit dated. I got to my room, and it was ok - or so I thought. As it turns out, the climate control didn't work, so I froze all night. When I mentioned this to the staff the next morning, the maintenance crew "fixed" it, but now the heat didn't turn off, so I baked that night. When I mentioned this to another staff person, Iggy, he immediately got in touch with the hotel manager and they moved me to a better room with climate control that worked. In fact, she personally walked me to the room to make sure everything was fine, and both of them checked in with me again to make sure I was happy. This was truly awesome service. As for location, it took me a day to realize that Kingsway Hall is only a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Covent Garden area - it really is super close to everything. Having it be on a quiet street was actually really nice to come back to after being out in the noise of Soho, Covent Garden, and Picadilly Circus. I do with the decor was modernized a bit - the styling is from the late 80's/early 90's - just not my taste. However, the service, location, and overall value means that I'd definitely recommend it, and would definitely come back when I'm in London.

The hotel I had originally chosen was full. Expedia operator suggested the caesar, which was nearby. When we arrived we were given a free upgrade. The price was reasonable, service was excellent, everything was very clean. The bedding was first rate.

"Exceeds Expectation"
I would definitely stay in this hotel again & again when back in London!!! Firstly, check in process was swift, systematic and efficient. My special mention to "MO" (guest services) who was extremely patient in responding to all our questions, helpful in giving us good tips on good restaurants, directions on where to go; he was polite and courteous. He made an effort in acknowledging me and my family by our last names (really cool). The rooms where spacious good size for 2 people. Comfortable bedding, clean and spacious bathroom with (abundant supply of amenities and towels). Most notably, mini bar (except for alcohol) is on the house. A big plus for me. Location is centrally located...walking distance to historical spots i.e., Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, London eye, etc. If one does not feel like walking... Embankment Underground is just around the corner. I love this hotel it even has very good restaurants and bars.

"#1 choice for seeing London sights"
This was a very nice accommodation just steps from the underground. The only minus was irregular housekeeping services, which sometime replenished linens and amenities and sometimes didn't. We complained once, but the erratic service continued. This was a minor lapse that didn't impact our enjoyment of the hotel or London.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Camden High Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
