They are eager to please their clients. We checked in around 7pm. Got in, went for supper and felt like having a swim to finish the day. Pool was closing at 9pm but the lady told us, sometimes she leaves it open a little longer if there are people in there. Learned at 9:10 that were leaving it open a little longer, we hurried up and once we got in there, more people came . I guess we were many with the same idea. The day was a hot one and the evening was still very warm. The pool was welcomed by everyone :-)

Location is just off the 401 and easy to get to. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so check-in was relocated from lobby - no problems. The breakfast had lot of variety - hot and cold. The beds were comfortable. One morning of the 4 nights we stayed the breaker blew - perhaps being overloaded due to the renovations (was corrected when we came back to room in the afternoon) and the toilet was not properly cleaned. Unfortunately, one guest room forgot it was non-smoking as it lingered on within the ventilation.

We have been to Langdon Hall three times and every time it has been such a treat. From the amazing service to the excellent food, and the pristine grounds. Pure relaxation. Our favourite hotel in Canada by far.

With its Victorian homes, green parks, stone bridges, and the Grand River, Cambridge often serves as a location for film and TV shows. Dickson Hill, in particular, offers photogenic mansions and leafy streets. In the city's south--the thriving downtown Galt area--riverfront textile mills have been converted to retail shops and one of Canada's oldest farmers' markets teems with shoppers.
