"Prime location in London."
We had arrived early and was worried that our room would not be ready to put away our luggage and relax. Fortunately, it was! Through their self check-in computers, I was able to even select a couple of options of room views and floor levels. Since this was my first time in London, obviously I chose the highest level available and to see the Tower of London from our window. Love the minimalist and simplicity but modern this brand of Hotel is. Just here to sleep, relax and use of private pod-style bathroom. Everything was all link to an iPod: Change mood lighting, lowering the blinds, TV, and temperature. Room was just enough space for 2 people and our carry-ons were able to fit in the wide drawer underneath the wall-to-wall size king bed. Drinks and food choices were excellent and to get around London, everything was close...especially the tube was on the corner.

"Can you say "Tower Bridge" almost in my room?"
The view of Tower Bridge out of our room window was spectacular. It was so close it seemed as though it was almost in our room. [Of course, not all rooms have this view...you may want to request such a room.] The room was clean, fresh and comfy. The staff was courteous. All around great stay.

"Modern Hotel, Great CitizenM Attitude!"
This hotel was fun! It has a self check-in, which allows you to "pick" your room (city view, etc.). There is a person/people available to assist you with self check-in if necessary, but the screens are pretty user friendly. The rooms are fun, and filled with "CitizenM says" humor found everywhere throughout the room. The room is small, bed stretches the width of the room, and the space is well utilized to make the room feel bigger than it is. The room has an ipad that allows you to customize things such as mood lighting, blinds, lights, TV, etc. (There are normal light switches and remotes too, if technology worries you.) There was construction right outside our window, which meant no sleeping in - even if we wanted to. But if the construction wasn't there, the room darkenling blinds and a shower with the CitizenM PM soap would have been enough to allow anyone to sleep, regardless of the time of day. We had someone meet us at the hotel, and the friendly staff even assisted her to find out whether we had checked in or not, and showed her to seating in the lobby! The hotel has a grocery store across the street, and is within walking distance to the London Bridge train station (8min walk), Borough Market (8min walk), Globe Theatre (5min walk), Tate Modern, the Millenium Bridge, and many other gems. There are a few restaurants and pubs quite close too. Checkout was easy too! All self-checkout... and the room key is setup to be a luggage tag when you leave. All great touches!

"Elegant Hotel next door to Victoria Station"
We used the hotel for a long weekend during the Prom season. Check in was easy, we received an upgrade :-) and this made our stay very pleasant. Our room overlooked the station - trading view for no road noise worked for us. Overall the room was comfortable, well appointed, and silent at night. Everything was in good order.

It was my first time to London and knew I needed luxury, convenience and security. I found the gorgeous hotel to meet all of my needs. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The bar was great for snacks and drinks! I had a in room massage and it helped me from jet lag. Tourist sites were in walking distance and the parks were beautiful. A great time at this hotel!

"Wonderful hotel in charming South Kensington"
The Kensington is a beautiful hotel with spacious (for London!), comfortable rooms that are a pleasure to return to after a busy day exploring the city. We were booked up most evenings with plays in the West End or dinner with friends and were extra grateful to come back to a lovely, clean, air conditioned room with a comfortable bed. It's about five minutes walk to the nearest tube station and therefore very accessible to everything. Lots of great little restaurants and shops in the area if you feel like exploring the neighborhood. It's a lovely place to walk. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Kensington to friends and family and I look forward to our next visit. Be sure to have tea in the lounge -- we regret that we didn't do it till our last day... (or maybe it's for the best, as we'd never have left our hotel!).

"Convenient for West End"
Ideally located near Holborn Tube station. Room was quiet at back of hotel. Good size. Bathroom was tired but clean and tidy. Hairdryer fixed to wall and wasn't very good but housekeeping provided a proper one when we realised it was available. Lovely breakfast and worth it. Room had a mini bar which wasn't cheap but we used the fridge to keep drinks cold.

"Just a cool hotel!"
Beautiful hotel, great staff. Right about Burrough Market and the Tube. Lobby starts on floor 35 and rooms extend up to 55 roughly. Rooms are dead quiet. Completely soundproofed. Beds about as comfortable as you can get. Bathrooms well layed out with top amenities. Twice daily maid service with turndown service at bedtime. 2 things I'd improve on would be a running total of your bill on the TV. In the meantime the front desk can deliver a daily bill to keep track. The hotel will charge 100 pounds per day for any incidentals. What you don't use is credited back. I wasn't aware of this and did feel a bit ambushed at check in. Area has a lot of construction going on but you won't care once your inside. A must is the pool on floor 56. Highest in Europe I believe. Hotel is the tallest in Western Europe. Resturants are beautiful but VERY overpriced for what you get. Fun to pick one of the 4 up high just for the experience.

Camberwell is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Camberwell, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Camberwell hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
