Quiet hotel stay for me. Room carpets could use a cleaning. Shower pressure is terrible, but with Calif's water shortage I understand. the shower rod fell and I had to put it back up. Hotel staff is great.

Good spot for a quick overnight stay. Literally just off the 101 however, not much else at this exit. For a better Holiday Inn Express go to the one near the Port Hueneme Sea Bee base. It's been recently refurb'd and is a few blocks from the beach.

The hotel was excellent. Clean rooms, attentive staff, and a comfortable bed. What more could you ask for. Did I mention the breakfast buffet? Amazing and so filling. Outdoor pool with Jacuzzi and you have it all. I will definetly stay here my next time in the area.

For $60 the room was great. It was much larger than I expected. It included a fridge, microwave and coffee pot.
However the hair dryer was broken. I found out that it didn't work when I went to use it in the morning. The front desk clerk said she would have their maintenance man look at it when he arrived 30 minutes later. Since I had an appointment that I needed to leave for, I asked for a loaner and was told they had none but she gave me a key to another room so I could use the one in that room. When I got back 12 hours later it still want fixed. The next morning another front desk clerk let me use a dryer they had in the lost and found.

In Ventura County, this city of 58,000 is named for Adolfo Camarillo (1864-1958), a Ventura County native and prominent land owner, horse breeder, rancher, and philanthropist. Predominately a bedroom community, Camarillo's main attraction is Camarillo Premium Outlets.
