I used to live in the Ventura Country for 22 years until 1999. Knew there was Motel 6 in Camarillo. So I stayed there for a night for easy access to everything.
At the motel, the floor now has vinyl wood flooring, much better than carpeting. I like it. The beds were so nice although the bed sheets & towels weren’t that good quality. And I’ll return in the near future because I still have friends in Camarillo.

Nice breakfast buffet, clean hot tub and pool. People are really nice. Near food, stores in walking distance. Nice area, felt totally safe. Rooms need updating but amenities include microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, refrigerator. It has a tennis court. Very good experience.

There was a lot of signs regarding safety and cameras. It made me feel unsafe. They also request an id of every one staying in the room which was off for me since I’ve never had that before. It was good for the price. Conveniently located by the freeway and the beach.

My family and I had a last minute trip to Oxnard and found the channel island shore. We were able to get a early check in and to my surprise we were upgraded to a larger unit. The girl at the front desk was very nice and friendly. They provide beach chairs and boogie boards if you ask in the lobby. My kids had a great time at the beach and at the Channel Islands shores. I enjoyed the private hot tub which was great after the day at the beach. It was also great to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. We will definitely come back.
