Bathroom needs a fan or similar far too hot. Air con. too noisy and didn't feel adequate for area. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Complex handy to town. Clean and adequate room needs a bit of a upgrade. Would recommend to others. Pool at complex needs privacy screening from street and the pebble coating is very hard on feet but great facility.

We stayed in the swim up apartment which was great to be able to just jump in the pool. Apartment was very spacious. Location was fab - just a short walk into the main area. We would definitely book there again

Nice budget hotel : it's old but in fair condition. The staff were very helpful and polite. The door to the room was loose fitting, so there was a gap between its sliding door and frame .... not safe at all. I would've changed rooms but it was the only one available with a bath. Also the location being on a main road made it quite noisy at night. Besides the noise and the insecure door it was a great little hotel. I would use it again but ensure that I was at the back of the hotel instead.

Cairns is the gateway to Australia's famed Great Barrier Reef, and is a tropical getaway in its own right. Make sure to visit the Cairns Esplanade, the city's social and recreational heart. Walk, rollerblade, or cycle along the promenade. Soak up the sun or take a swim in the large saltwater lagoon. In the evening, dine in one of the many restaurants along the Esplanade.
