Hotel suited my needs for business trip. In need of an update.
Room smelled musty but ok after opened window. Staff competent but not super friendly.
Breakfast was extremely limited unless you want a waffle.

"Great location to shops, restaurants and campus."
We arrived very early to State College. I thought I would try to see if I could check in at that time. The person behind the desk was so nice and was able to accommodate us at 11am. I was very pleased about that.

The hotel is in an ideal location for visiting Penn State.
Just park your car and walk.
The staff is friendly and cookies at check in are a nice touch.
That being said, the entrance is quirky, on a seperate floor from the lobby.
The lobby is beautiful but laid out strangely.
The room we had was dated and in need of a deep clean.
The bed and linens were comfortable, but the window AC sounded like a jet taking off.

I attended a wedding at the Bell Mountain Estate in Lewistown. The hotel was very close to the location and close to other businesses. The room had basic facilities. The bathroom was small, but it served the purpose of the visit. The staff was helpful and our room was available before the check-in time, so we were able to check-in early.

Set near the borders of Rothrock State Forest, the town of Burnham provides a great base for exploring the forest's 95,000 acres of trails, parks, campsites, and lakes. The town features a weekly Amish farmer's market. Just 25 miles away, State College is home to the Penn State University campus, as well as community theatres, antique shops, wineries, and art galleries.
