Pros: Easy check-in. Room was a good size for a standard queen. Overlooked a roof top which was disappointing. Hopefully, other rooms upscale as shown in pics. Nice amenities. Lovely courtyard. On site restaurant.
Cons: Parking can be an issue, especially during business hours. Asked to see dinner menu at check-in. Totally different information than what was provided in in-room notebook. In room information also stated evening reception. No such thing. Not even comp coffee in lobby in the AM.. $1.50. NOTE: be sure to check bill upon check-out. Auto charge of $3+ for 'comp' breakfast. Was told this is for gratuity, whether you have breakfast or not (which we did not). Staff was cordial and took off charges.
Overall nice, historic hotel but with a tendency to nickel and dime.

The treehouse is very nice. The rooms were great; it was really more like staying in a home. We had a sitting area and a kitchen, as well as the room. There were balconies on both sides that looked out on a beautiful garden. The location is also quite nice, just a short drive from downtown Bryan. The owner was friendly and gave us plenty of space; breakfasts were very good, and allowed us to "serve ourselves" without actually doing any work. It was great for a weekend trip!

Hotel was very clean, staff was very nice and helpful, like that it had breakfast with the room. Pillows and bed were so comfy. I would definitely stay here again. Only downside for me was that there was no pool. I have kids so a pool would have been nice. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The only issue we had was getting in and out of the parking lot. You bottom out your car no matter how slow you pull out or into the front of the parking lot. We learned to drive around to and pull in at the back entrance instead, but something that should definitely be fixed by them.
