"Nice place to stay in Bristol"
Central, standard quality hotel. Good position and there's an underground car park at £16 a day, which is handy. Just roll up and check in. No complaints apart from the bizarre shortage of showers in the mens' changing rooms in the spa. There's only 2 and they have locking doors. So two fellas go in, lock the doors and the rest of us (about 7) just stand around wondering where the other showers are and how we're going to wash the chlorine off.

"Well placed for all facilities"
Disappointed on arrival to find Reception area like a builders yard. Understand it is necessary to refurb. But maybe we should have been informed that these renovations were taking place. Plus the staff made no reference to this inconvenience. Not at all professional very surprised at the Management. Or lack of management.

"Smart hotel for a special occasion, great location"
We stayed in Bristol Harbour hotel for one night between Christmas and New Year as a couple's getaway. The hotel is not yet finished so the spa wasn't open but the room that we were given was very large and in mint condition. The huge bed was very comfy and lovely spotless bathroom. The stay felt that bit more luxurious that if we had stayed in a chain hotel. I would go again.

"Nice Hotel in walking distance to City"
Arrived at hotel for a two day stay to celebrate my mums Birthday and asked if i could could cancel one days breakfast and pay extra for an evening meal instead and was told it was not possible. Given a room on the fourth floor, nice room but only came with a shower, would have thought that paying a large amount per night you would get a bath as well. Asked for a change of room which i was given on the first floor. Side of bath was split and toilet well worn or dirty under the rim. No dustbin in room. Pool area bit disappointing not cleaned very often. Pair of flip flops in there, empty lucozade bottle and dirty tissue under sun bed for two days. Swimming lessons and class on both days i was there, Monday evening only half the pool was available to use to swim. Was told on Sunday about Sundays lessons but not monday. 5 people were in a small half pool on Monday evening

"Very nice to stay"
The overall of staying in the apartment was very good. Big space of the rooms was an advantage of the property. Saturday night was to noisy as the sound was passing through the windows. We arrived with the car but the security guide wasn't aware for our arrival. However, he assist us and gave us instructions how to go to the car park. The apartment was very clean full of kitchen utilities (cutlery, milk, cereals etc.)

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
