We had a lovely stay at the Grand Chancellor in Brisbane. Great location in between the CBD and the Valley - easy 15 min walk to Queen Street shops or Eagle Street Pier for amazing restaurants.
Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money! Staff were so accommodating and friendly.
Great stay - we will be back soon!

We stayed in this hotel for only one night. Hotel honored our request for one hour late checkout. Breakfast was limited and not of a much variety. what we liked the most is the location of this property and also the river view rooms.
We were not able to sleep most of the night because of the room air conditioning noise. It was terrible and the rooms were stuffed up with furniture not leaving much space to move around.
The staff was helpful from check in to checkout.

Have stayed in Jen hotels in Asia previously and decided to give this a go because it is well priced and reasonably central . Checkin took three visits back to front desk but at the end they upgraded us to an executive room which was very nice. Breakfast is $36 per person though they discount this at front desk if you book on arrival Breakfast is fair but the most annoying part is if you want anything except scrambled eggs you have to fill out a piece of paper then carry a number back to your table .I have never seen such an awkward system that really annoys guests.
Tip ask for a corner room they are bigger and far better

The Brisbane CBD straddles the Brisbane River and has ample parks, including the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. The area is easily walkable and there are many restaurants with outdoor seating—if it’s late enough you may be able to catch some live entertainment. Across the river in South Bank you’ll find an exciting shopping experience at the Friday night and weekend markets with more than 80 vendor stalls.
