I loved this place; I only stayed one night on business, but the location, ambience, and comfort of the hotel made my choice worth it. This is a great example of an old, stately hotel that maintains its character. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom was also very large and very clean. I appreciated the continental breakfast and the Red Dog Tavern had nice choices for dinner. My only complaint was that the wi-fi was a little slow (weak signal in my room); otherwise, everything was really perfect. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel is an okay alternative. However, you have to realize that this is really en extended stay hotel. The hotel only provides maid service once very 8 days (not every day). The clientele seemed a little young, so there was some noise. Not too bad for the price.

If I ever have the need to stay in this area again, (funeral) I would be happy to stay there again. I often travel with my greyhound who is welcome there. The hotel is nice in appearance, well maintained and it didn't look as though we'd been shunted off to a "dog room." The staff was great, dealing well with my slightly demented ( 700+ mile drive) sense of humor at check-in. One member of the staff - didn't catch his name, black guy, dark complected, foriegn accent, was super nice and helpful at departure. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Doggie "accommodations" are at the rear of the property and include a for "🐕 presents." The one deficiency is in regards to the subject of breakfast. The offerings consisted of a stand by the front door with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, muffins, granola bars etc... There is no place to sit, but the rooms have kitchenettes so NBD. On the whole, great place.
