Bad - or terrible I should say ... the swimming pool ! The water was green and cloudy so I didn't even use it , the jacuzzi.... it was an empty dirty pot... after all we have seen me and my husband went back to the room. Very disappointed!!!
I chosen that hotel just because we wanted to relax as it has the spa facilities . But what a shame instead or relax we were disappointed!!!
There was no information whatsoever about not working jacuzzi!!! The staff didn't offer anything instead !
Also during our breakfast we were surrounded by dust .... ehhh Not very appetitting ....
The only good thing about that hotel was breakfast which was very good !!! And the rooms were ok

This is a hotel right out of an Agatha Christie novel. From the crunchy manicured gravel driveway to the claw footed bathtub in our room we felt as if we had been swept back into the early 20th century.

We were surprised and delighted by the Park Plaza. The room was huge and had every amenity we might need. The staff was very helpful. The hotel had an excellent gym. The breakfast was terrific. The parking was very convenient if a tad expensive. And the hotel was just a few minutes walk from the castle and downtown Cardiff.

Top sights include the 12th-century Ewenny Priory and Church, the 17th-century Ewenny Pottery (one of the oldest working potteries in Wales), Cefn Cribwr, a well-preserved 18th-century industrial ironworks, and Bryngarw Country Park, with acres upon acres of woodland, wetland, and gardens.
