"Good location, clean and modern"
Overall we had a great experience at this hotel. It's an excellent location if you want to be downtown. The hotel itself was clean and updated. The cleaning staff was very friendly but a bit overly chatty when we were trying to leave on several occasions. A big plus for me was the fact that there was a mini refrigerator in the room. I think some would say that the rooms are on the smallish side but they must be thinking of elsewhere in America because I thought this was pretty standard for a hotel room in NYC. My only real complaint is that the soundproofing is not very good. Our room overlooked Bowery and I could hear lots of road noise, especially early in the morning.

"Nice hotel: clean and comfortable."
We spent 4 nights at the Gatsby Hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and updated. Anthony at the front desk was great - very helpful and pleasant. I have no complaints about our stay and I would definitely stay there again while visiting New York. I would however, make three suggestions to the hotel. While the room had a good heating system and I was not cold, I felt the bed could use heavier blankets. The weight of the blankets were equivalent to 2 sheets and a lightweight blanket. We were there in January and I like the feel of something heavier. The second suggestion is, if possible to adjust the heavy doors so that they do not slam as they are closing. If you were careful to hold the door, you could close it quietly but for the most part, I heard a lot of slamming doors. Part of the blame should definitely go to other guests who allowed their doors to slam behind them, often late night and early am. My final suggestion would be to add a few vending machines with drinks and snacks. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend your hotel to family and friends.

"Nice Hotel in a great location"
My two negatives are that when I walked into the loby there was nobody at the front desk and I had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to greet me. My other is the size of the television, it is the size of a large computer monitor. Other than these two things the hotel was nice, clean and a great hotel for the price.

"it's better than most Hotel in the area"
For the most part my stay at this Hotel was pleasant I was comfortable because I reserved a Single room instead of an economy so I had more space a Tv a full size bed. It only needs small repairs like repainting the rooms change the tables inside the rooms. Now they constantly try to clean the bathroom which is really important and the staff is really nice.

"An inexpensive bare bones stay in Manhattan"
The room was windowless and very small, and the walls are very thin. You can hear people in adjacent rooms. It is an inexpensive and clean place to stay in Manhattan, so take it for what it is if you're in the Big Apple on a budget.

Bowery is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bowery, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bowery hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
