"Excellent hotel in peaceful, secluded surroundings"
A well-preserved and beautifully kept chateau in classic style, set in secluded grounds.
Enormous, well-furnished room with a bed for BFG. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower, all toiletries and hair dryer. Several wardrobes and bureaux.
Well worth a visit as a stopover, but probably not for a prolonged stay as the surrounding area is not so interesting, apart from the coastal towns, Boulogne, Le Touquet, Wimereux at al.
We stayed for two days and although it is set in a National Park, the area has little to offer beyond that.

Very comfortable hotel in lovely surroundings. The location is good as it is within easy reach of Calais and is very close to Le Touquet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and there was a good choice of food for breakfast.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this little, quaint French hotel and their staff and owners. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed they served us as well as we have ever been served - all the while with smiles on their faces. The rooms overlooked the river two blocks from the channel and boardwalk. We had a wheelchair to manage and they were so accommodating. Our rooms were large and very comfortable and when we asked where we could have dinner the young lady wo was relatively new to the hotel could not have been more helpful. WE eventually ate at Le Carnot just a block from the hotel and it was excellent. Breakfast was very complete and service was wonderful. Checkout was easy and we were sent on our way with the same smiles we saw when we arrived. a twenty minute drive to the chunnel.

This charming town is France's biggest fishing port, so seafood abounds in its many restaurants. Massive ramparts ring the old town where cobbled streets pass between the cathedral and the old castle. The twice weekly market takes place in the centre of town where other shopping and eating opportunities are plentiful, while the NAUSICAA aquarium provides a welcome distraction for younger visitors.
