Beds were comfortable, food was good and room was quiet We stay here often, when traveling ,it is convenient and I enjoy the casino and can count on a good nights sleep! The only thing I wish they would change is the check in procedure. The llines are usually long. After traveling for 10 hours, I was tired. There were only three people ahead of me when I arrived. As I waited my turn, others walked in got in the diamond lane and every time they were called first. I understand they get special priority, but when they just walk up and I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes before they came, that is ridiculous. Made me feel unwelcome. This policy needs some changes.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part about the stay was what happened after we left. I forgot a personal item very dear to me. They could have easily kept it, and said they never found it. However, they found it, shipped it and their incredible staff made sure it was returned safely.

Across the Red River from Shreveport, Bossier City is home to Barksdale Air Force Base. Largely a military community, it is also a hub for gambling and horse races. It has three riverboat casinos: Harrah’s Horseshoe, Diamond Jack’s, and Boomtown. Harrah’s Louisiana Downs, a first-class thoroughbred racetrack with slot machines, is on the city’s east side.
