We stayed at the Ramada for the good rate, we checked in and did not have any problems, the clerk was very nice and she was very helpful. We did not know where we were going and she took the time to print off directions to all our locations. The room we had was larger than normal rooms, it was clean and the bathroom was clean as well, we went to the lounge that evening and had a few drinks before we went out drinks were very cheap and a pretty good bartender. We slept in and almost missed breakfast which surprisingly had more than other places we stayed, it was impressive. We checked out and received the same friendly service as checking in my wife was impressed and she is very hard on hotels we stay at , so we will be back New years eve!!!!

The staff was accommodating and professional. We needed extra towels since we had a party of four and had to make two trips, but had no problem getting them. It was nice and quiet on our floor. Mistakenly booked the handicapped room...did not realize until we had unpacked our stuff so didn't ask for another room. Other than that faux pas it was a good night

Across the Red River from Shreveport, Bossier City is home to Barksdale Air Force Base. Largely a military community, it is also a hub for gambling and horse races. It has three riverboat casinos: Harrah’s Horseshoe, Diamond Jack’s, and Boomtown. Harrah’s Louisiana Downs, a first-class thoroughbred racetrack with slot machines, is on the city’s east side.
