"Met wants well"
Near to centre of town... good.. but not a noisy, busy location, though on a busy road. (My room didn't front. Good dbl glazing, but windows DO open. This is "apart hotel"... you are renting the use of a nice little apartment, complete with kitchen. Bed folded into wall, so "sitting room" could be bed-less. (Converted to nice settee) Don't expect "hotel style" lobby, services, etc... though person on desk was friendly, had good advice on parking. Handy for Hippodrome... 4 minute walk. And associated restaurant district, Chinatown "below", "central plaza" "above". Near Bullring shopping. Annoyed to regularly have to walk around three sides of a rectangle for the convenience of some building work going on. Only annoyance.

"Nice hotel, odd location"
Everything fine except shower somewhat binary (hot or cold, not in between) and bathroom quite small. More portly people would have struggled to use the loo.

"Perfect for a short stay"
Hotel is excellent value for money. Yes, there are minor areas of the room where plaster is crumbling but this is superficial. The hotel is quite modern and very clean. I'd stay again and recommend to a friend.

"Great nights stay in a lovely pub"
I booked this as it was close to the O2 institute & looked like it had a lot of character. The building itself is lovely and when we were shown our room, I was amazed at how big it was. I booked the ensuite room and the bathroom was big too with a really lovely claw foot bath (no shower) - the only thing we found a bit odd was that there was no mirror in the bathroom, but it wasn't end of the world stuff. As others have mentioned, it can be a bit noisy with traffic etc. but when you've booked to stay somewhere situated on a main road, you should expect and accept this. Having said that, I had a brilliant nights sleep and wasn't disturbed at all.The room itself was large, clean and comfortable, I was so pleased with it. The pub is lovely too, great tunes being played, good food (the tomatoes that came with the steak - loved them, so delicious) and a nice crowd. Breakfast in the morning was yummy and just the right amount. I really loved this place and will definitely stay again if I'm ever in that neck of the woods. Thank you for a great experience!

"Be aware you need photo ID to check in. "
Quiet, walkable from the city centre. Good value. But be warned, you have to have photo ID to check in. The woman at check in was adamant this requirement is clearly stated when making a booking, but I've checked my booking on Expedia and it's not stated anywhere. Not particularly friendly or welcoming, she reluctantly allowed us to stay saying 'this time' I'll let you stay without photo ID. I know this is a hostel but it doesn't hurt to be welcoming and positive towards paying guests and not make guests feel like they are nuisance!

Bordesley is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bordesley, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bordesley hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
