This hotel was a halfway point on a long 2 day drive. I needed a place that could handle a large moving type truck and a boat. This hotel is easily visible from the interstate, I could even see where I could park as I exited the highway. Once parked, the lobby was nice and very clean. I think this was an older building that was heavily remodeled and updated into what it is today. It is very nice, clean and quiet.
My room was well lit and had a comfortable bed. Despite being right on the interstate, you couldn't hear any traffic from the road at all.
I had to walk to get dinner, and there were several fast food choices within walking distance (I went with Subway), but there was a KFC, Taco Bell and Wendy's as well.
The breakfast in the am was just OK. The eggs were alright, but a little runny for my tastes. I'm not a biscuit and gravy person, so that didn't appeal to me. The coffee on the other hand was very good and there was plenty of it.
My ONLY complaint was in the shower. Everything was good until I got in the shower and pulled the curtain shut. That's when I saw a used dried up washcloth on the shower curtain rod. EWWWW! I totally understand how it got missed, but it was kind of gross.
Would I stay again....definitely.

Bed was nice, clean. Bathroom was in bad condition. Nasty toilet and shower head. Poor daily cleaning by maid. Heater sounded like semi truck idling in the room.
I Rented 2 rooms both were in the same condition.

The only bad experience of my 2 day stay was when the morning male clerk took so long to reassign my room since I was staying another day. I was in a hurry and it took him over 30 minutes to schedule me for my same room. He need more training!

I have had prior visits to other hotels in the area, and had unpleasant stays with noise, and commotion, and uncertainty.
Visiting my daughter that was having a baby, made it less hectic, and calming.
Thank you for the great experience.

Blue Springs is a satellite city of Kansas City. The Dillingham-Lewis Museum, built in 1906, remains as the only structure in Blue Springs constructed of native limestone. The museum also serves as the headquarters for the Blue Springs Historical Society and is furnished with historical replicas and displays.
