"Stay in main building, not the "2 Studio Apartment"
Studio apartment was oversold and under-delivered. Location of 2 room studio was adjacent to the road, cleanliness and main bedroom facing the road not logically facing the beautiful gardens and view detracts from the experience. Rooms needed water (none even in minibar) as tap water is heavily chlorinated. Shouldn't need to order room service for water. The main building is far more appropriate for the asking price. Hotel staff ranged from exceptional to vague and inattentative.

I was looking to relax after a long day trip to the mountains and found this hotel. It was exactly as advertised. The decor was classic and reminded me of an old victorian hotel. The room was quite spacious although some of the electronics could do with a upgrade (lightning connector for ipod docs).
The in-room spa / hot tub was definitely one of the main reasons I booked at this place and it was worth it.
Continental breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This motel was perfect in terms of location because it is so close to all the main blue mountains attractions and also close to groceries and restaurants. The room itself was average, just had the essentials and were clean.

Art Deco hotel with plenty of history, nice location, staff extremely friendly, room was small compared to other motels in the area, air conditioner filter was dirty and badly positioned in the room (right next to your head beside the bed), insufficient space for toiletries in bathroom. Food facilities were also quite expensive.

Couple with a toddler who spent 2 nights here. We received a warm welcome from owner who gave us a brief introduction on the area. Request for extra towel was provided with a smile. There was a nice pool but weather was too cold to swim. We wanted to try out the bbq by the poolside but decided against it in the cold, rainy weather. Plenty of spacious parking lots in front of our room. Room was clean but mattress was too soft and not much vanity space in the bath. Tissue box had to be placed on the window ledge high up. Good location to explore the surroundings. A good economical option as a base to explore the blue mountain area.

At the heart of the Blue Mountains is the village of Blackheath, with the numerous cafes, restaurants, and nearby bush giving the town undying natural allure. Canyoners and rockclimbers base themselves in the quaint town, which is surrounded by numerous canyons, walking tracks, and lookouts, allowing visitors to grab hold of everything the Blue Mountains has to offer.
