Hotel was able to check us in early (7:30am) in order for us to get ready for our wedding. The corner suite was above expectations and the staff was exceptional. Evan: Front Desk Greg: Front Desk Alan: Front Drive

"Nice woodsy condo."
Very cozy, nestled in the woods. We really liked being able to ski directly to the back door and storing our equipment in the ski locker after a day on Blackcomb slopes. There is a long narrow trail directly off of the groomed trails below Excalibur Gondola marked with a yellowish sign. As long as you keep the ski area boundary to your right you will find it. There were Horstman House directional signs at every trail junction. The frequent bus out front of the building is free and will take you to the village. There is a free two level underground parking garage. The parking stalls are are very narrow and it can be a challenge to squeeze into an available spot next to another car and a column. There are several reserved spots that you can't use unless you are an owner but they didn't appear to be used much. If they were available it would be much easier to park when the place is not full. The suites are somewhat dated and a bit cramped but they are very clean and serviced daily. There is a pool table in the lobby, a game room, a gym, pool and hot tub. I typically like to workout before I ski but the gym did not open until 10:00 am, which did not make sense to me. I went running on the icy roads instead. The place is very secure so keep your key card handy to access all the doors. The facility is rated a four star not for being fancy but for the ambiance. I would say this is accurate. It is about 0.7 miles from the village but very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

At first we were disappointed because we booked for a mountain view and 2 singles beds versus bunk beds. We looked onto the hill thru trees - in the end the view was just fine and the bunk beds worked out better for my teenage children.

"Read the Email "
Noisy at night due to pot session at Starbucks. We should have read the email and called rcmp for the noise disturbance at 2 am. Otherwise, we had a good view, got all our special requests.

"A great view!"
Positives: stayed in a 3rd floor suite and had a great view of Blackcomb. We stayed in Upper Village because it's quieter than Lower Village and it's ski-in/ski-out. Suite had 2 bathrooms and a bedroom separate from the living room space. Suite also had a kitchenette with microwave, small frig, sink, utensils, and dishes. There were large windows that could be opened which for us was a plus because the hotel is actually very warm. Staff was very helpful as well with helping us navigate the area. Negatives: the gym is very basic and the machines need to be serviced. There's also no wi-fi in the gym because each unit has its own wi-if login. So if you want to watch anything you'll either need to use your own data or make sure you've downloaded what you want to watch before you get to the gym. The elliptical made a very loud noise throughout every workout. Probably needs to be lubricated. Also, it was clear the towels hadn't been collected in the week I was there. By-laws are clearly posted and say no pets at all yet there were multiple dogs in the hotel throughout the week - and no, they weren't service animals. I don't mind dogs but rules are rules. Lastly, the suites are owned by separate owners which is important because it means there is no guarantee about the quality of the furnishings. Our suite was on the older side. At least a couple of the chair cushions were ripped and you could clearly see the foam. The lamp shades were old and faded in spots.

"Condo rental short drive from main village"
Overall we had a positive experience. Location was perfect for what we needed (close to Ironman activities). Amenities were great including the pool and gym access. The unit was clean, had everything we were looking for in the fully stocked kitchen, as well as offered toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) which was a nice touch. There wasn't anyone working at the hotel/condo lobby front desk for the duration of our stay, so when questions arose, for example with the underground parking, we had to call the check-in hotel (located down the hill in the Whistler village). They didn't seem to know specifics about the underground parking in the building, and told us to talk to the worker at the front desk in our building, however there wasn't anyone there for our 3 days. Clearly there was a disconnect as the check in facility and our condo site didn't communicate regularly... A downside... our unit overlooked the front entrance. There was a designated smoking area to the left of our balcony, and throughout our stay we could smell cigarette smoke.

"An older, but ski out and ski in lodge. "
Secure parking garage. Ski storage room is secure, but bring your own rack lock. Elevator does not go to garage- same floor as lobby, but must bring everything in on carts through two unaligned doors. Due to " mezanine" floors your baggage cart may be unable to get to your room. Desk girls are excellent. Room 315 was ok. Kitchen has lots pots n pans toaster n stuff ( no hand held mixer). Bathroom ok, but little round commode a challenge. Plenty of towels. Bdrm - ok, comfy bed.lvg room-green n yellow colors ? Sofa bed could be replaced: fabric old. Loft area is nice , 2 twin beds, & has pvt commode n sink. Some stair steps slope so hold onto rail. Overall a nice stay for an older place . The garage needs hosed out once a month to keep the dustiness under control. We'd stay there again- its a nice, average overall place. The front desk is super helpful- the tall girl w black hair is always so cheerful and knowledgeable and was very nice to my whole family-"Thank-you."

Blackcomb is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Blackcomb, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Blackcomb hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
