"Excellent location "
Pros: 1) Good for family of 3 (2 adults +1 child). 2) Tram 28E, a high rating coffee shop, a French breakfast restaurant are literally just right outside!! 3) Walk around the small streets you will find small grocery stores; several small restaurants are nearby too (with good rating) 4) 20 minutes "walking" to Baxia-Chiado area 5) Uber is very useful app for you to get around town here if you don't opt for public transportation. But Lisbon's traffic is bad during prime time / season. Cons: 1) pictures under hotel view are a mixed of big and small units, don't "assume" you will be staying at the exact same BIG one like the pic shown 2) Unit 1B: pretty small, especially the bathroom shower. Drainage slow but water has good pressure. 3) Cleaning company is not very generous in providing towels nor toilet papers - you will probably just have "enough". 4)The accumulated trash right outside the building got pickup once a week, I believe. Not a pretty scene when you walk in/out of the building, but glad that I didn't notice any flies / rats nor bad smell ..... Otherwise, rating will be 1 star. 5) You should expect noise from night outers and traffic right outside!!! But they don't bother us that much cause we will be out early in morning to sight seeing and by night we are too tire to notice any noise. Conclusion: IF you think you get a good deal (as compare to others on Expedia)/ don't care about amenities/ need express check in /out, go for it.

"Beautiful apartment "
The location was okay. The apartment is beautiful and recently renovated. The apartment is located within walking distance to the train station, shops and restaurants. However, the city is really dirty. I highly recommend you stay outside the city in a resort town, such as cascais. The train station will give you easy access to Lisbon for a perfect day trip to the city. Also, the best way to see Lisbon is thru a private tour. They can take you around the city and show you the highlights of Lisbon for around 20 euros per person. You will find private tours outside the food court, "time to eat" close to the commerce plaza. I hope you find this information helpful.

"nice apartment"
well appointed apartment. all four of us were comfortable. it is on a steep walkway so if you have difficulty walking, it might not be the best for you. it is close to small markets and a very good restaurant called zapatas.

"More pros than cons!"
OK, I have to admit, I was apprehensive about my choice because of so many bad reviews I read about this place. However, my experience was perfect. No, It was not what I was use to in a hotel but I was able to adjust. It was safe, secure, and clean. The location was freaking awesome. I was able to literally wait for buses from my room since I was facing the street. This was perfect for me because I was alone and only needed I spot you sleep in because I stayed in the street. There were so many things that were close. Laundry, fitness center and nice cafes. When I got there my code did not work but I emailed staff and the issue was quickly resolved. I also arrived early and the house keepers were so kind to allow me to leave my bags, while I walked around, waiting for my room to be prepared and they put my bags in my room once it was ready. Yes there was noise of construction in the morning but I was not there to sleep in anyway. So, I was cool with it. I had no major issues at all and overall my experience was great. No luxury but it was just what I needed.

Bica is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bica, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bica hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
