"Good hotel to rest for your stay."
Stayed for the weekend. In on Friday, left Sunday. Staff friendly, place clean, nicely appointed, modern, secure and good parking. We were going to a family function and Bessemer was between the airport and the location. Besides with the Alabama game, rooms were difficult to get. Room door lock needed fixed. You had to put the card key in, pull it out, push down on the handle, and hit the door hard with your other hand to open it. Went for breakfast, floor in the kitchen was so sticky, seemed like you had suction cups on your shoes, then you tracked it into the dining area and lobby. The bread/pastry trays were not replenished. When low, they were taken away and not replaced. They had waffles and scrambled eggs/fried potatoes, cereals, juice machine, a nice selection of food. Second day, egg & cheese omelets, sausage patties, and the floor was just as sticky.
4.4 is a fair rating. Other than the kitchen, the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again and recommend it to others, just find another place to eat your breakfast. There was a pool and gym, but we did not use them as out time was spent elsewhere. We mainly needed a place to sleep.
