The hotel is beautiful and our room was spacious (by European standards) and totally quiet. Ask for room 522. The breakfast buffet was wonderful—more choices of every kind than I’ve ever seen before. The dinner buffet was more limited, but perfectly adequate. Entree, veggies, fruit, breads, etc. Two blocks to the funicular, one block to Bryggen. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Excellent hotel, easy to get to by airport shuttle to Bryggn stop. A bit of a walk to train station. Great breakfast and nice, light evening reception food options. Rooms a bit small, but clean and comfortable.

This hotel is very close to the city Centre and just one block from the airport bus. The breakfast lived up to the rave reviews on this site.
The heated bathroom floor was a nice touch. The only thing they need is blockout curtains, as there was a bit of street light coming through at night.

This is a very modern hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is part of a shopping mall, The front desk looks like a bar inside the mall entrance, it just a couple sets up from the main concourse. They will give you a pass card to use a secure elevator to your floor. You don't have to worry only hotel guess can use the elevator. But the best part is you are close to the harbor. Lots of restaurants and shops around you. If I return to Bergen, I will be staying at this hotel.

From the minute I landed I took the bus to the Flybussen to the hotel the Driver was very friendly and helpfu. My bus fare was 120 kroner because I paid cash in the bus, but if you purchase it on line it’s 100 kroner only. The ride was 20 minutes from airport to hotel, first stop was a 2 minute walk the hotel and the train station was literally across from the hotel which I had to take to Oslo too,I could also see it from my hotel room 404, this room was great clean and has a great view. The stuff here is very friendly and happy always and ready to assist and give you recommendations.Another great thing about this hotel specially if you are on a budget and want to travel with clean clothing they have do it your self laundry room no fee only purchase detergent from front desk, this was a life saver for me, I loved that I had this option. This hotel has one of the best breakfast I have ever had when you compare to the room pricing, so you will not be disappointed if you are a flexible eater.I will definitely stay here next time, Bergen it’s a small gorgeous town if you happen to visit Norway I highly recommend you spend at least 2 full days here and take the train ride to Oslo with amazing sights.

With about 250,000 residents, Bergen is Norway's second-largest city. It is also home to one of Europe's largest ports and is a popular port-of-call with visitors on cruise ships who flock to Norway to see the country's famous fjords. In addition to a bustling city centre with interesting shops and architecture, Bergen is also home to the country's largest mall, Lagune Storsenter.
