We spent two weeks in France and this was the best hotel by far. Beautiful, unique setting with outstanding, personal service. From restaurant recommendations to the delicious breakfast, heated towels and service carrying our luggage up the stairs, we greatly enjoyed our two nights here. Centrally located in Beaune, wished we had stayed longer.

They have only a few rooms, so no reception area. Our room was literally right off the street, as if we were a local. The combination to get into the door was pre-programmed to be our cell phone number. So it was nice not having to carry around a key. The bathroom was immaculate. The room itself was oddly laid out, but they did the best they could with the limited square footage. They stocked the room with a full bottle of still water everyday. And had a small kitchenette for making tea and coffee, with some basic plates etc too. There are ~10 stairs to get into the room, so make sure you can lift your suitcase all that way. Wifi signal was really good. Bathroom door lock didn't work. Overall a really nice place and highly recommended.

Great location to both the old town and the railroad station. Excellent breakfast for the best price of our time in France. The staff was very helpful and friendly and recommended great places to eat and taste the fine burgundies. Very happy with the entire experience that made our stay in beaune a real treat

Receptionist was very welcoming, answering lots of our questions.
We found the hotel very well placed for our visit into Beaune. A short walk through picturesque streets.
The room was not the largest we have ever had, but the furnishing and decor looked recentlly redone to a high standard.
The room was next to the lifts, but was one of the quietest rooms we have ever had. Plus, the aircon actually cooled the room down, so we had a comfortable night at below 20c.
We made use of the carpark and at €10 a day, felt that was a good rate for a secure underground parking space.

Surrounded by renowned French wineries, Beaune is considered the capital of Burgundy wine country and the ideal base for wine tourism in the region. This walled city maintains its cluster of narrow streets and old-world charm in the city center, filled with shops and cafes. The Saturday fine foods market, dating to medieval times, is a must see, as is the Burgundy Wine Museum.
