From checking-in through to departure the experience was first class. Staying 2 nights, in two rooms with my family we all were very happy with the accommodation. English speaking staff couldn't do enough to make the stay pleasant. Extremely gracious and friendly. Rooms clean and excellent value with tea making facilities and en-suite stocked with toiletries and fresh towels, kept tidy by chamber maid. Excellent price, excellent value, great location for us which was in a nicer part of the district and the hotel was perfect for travelling into the sightseeing areas using bus and metro underground. The public transport is closeby and easy to navigate and inexpensive enabling sightseeing everywhere. We travelled from the Eurostar Gare du Nord to the hotel using the underground also very easily. We also used taxis into the Bastille and back at night for around 8 to 15 Euros. A lovely shower and an excellent comfortable, quiet night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. A useful supermarket across the road. Would highly recommend for a city break when you don't want to spend a fortune but want a nice hotel. It ticked all the boxes for us.

This hotel was quite nice and very comfortable, especially for the price. They had a great staff and were very near a couple of good metro stations as well as some bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here

"Comfortable, quirky and lovely stay near Bastille"
If you know Paris even a little bit and are traveling alone, this hotel is superb.
The rooms are quirky - tiny, but well-renovated, with a comfy mattress, good air-con and perfect for one. They also give you a pre-loaded internet cell phone which you can use during your stay - so helpful!
It's small, so if you are running around at odd hours you may have to let yourself in/out, as there's not always someone on the desk late in the evening, but you get a door code and it's all quite simple. Tiny elevator - so you dont have to haul bags if you're up on the fifth floor which is a plus.
Overall brilliant stay. Would stay there again is a second.

Nice hotel in Le Marais. Loved the outdoor walkway where you could eat outside at tables or private lounge areas. Easy access to the metro. My room was great but felt a bit small. Staff were friendly enough and upon my arrival provided travel information about getting around Paris which was helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Paris. It is central to all amenities and very close to the Metro. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The decor is unique but everything is clean and fresh. The bathrooms are very new and a pleasure to use.

Northeast of Place de la Bastille, this working-class neighbourhood is gradually becoming fashionable with younger Parisians. Trendy boutiques, cafés and bars are replacing the older shops and bistros, although some old-fashioned workshops survive. Left-wing sentiments are aired here annually on 14th July when France commemorates the Revolution. A few paving stones mark the site of the former Bastille prison.
