This was a business trip with my colleague but took the opportunity to enjoy Paris and the surroundings.
Food is good, atmosphere and most of the people spoke good English.
We will definitely use the same hotel in the future when we visit in the future.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the convenience (and price) of the hotel. Very quaint! Neat little room perfect for out family's needs. Just realize - it is a budget hotel. Great staff. I love this location. Very easy to get around by walking and Metro to our fav Paris locations. Plenty of restaurants and other shops right in the neighborhood.

We stayed a week in the 3 bed room. Accommodations were exceptional. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were pleasing. We loved the decor of the hotel overall, the honesty bar and the staff. Our only concern was the heat doesn't go above 25 Celsius and being from the west coast of the US my friends were freezing all week.

We spent 3nights at the hotel. Our room was very clean and roomy and nicely cleaned each day. Staff were very helpful, hotel was well-located with many restaurants and shops nearby. Easy walk to metro République. We would certainly return to le 20 Prieure!

Northeast of Place de la Bastille, this working-class neighbourhood is gradually becoming fashionable with younger Parisians. Trendy boutiques, cafés and bars are replacing the older shops and bistros, although some old-fashioned workshops survive. Left-wing sentiments are aired here annually on 14th July when France commemorates the Revolution. A few paving stones mark the site of the former Bastille prison.
