The hotel is lovely, the rooms are a little tired and could do with better facilities like walk in showers and more plug sockets. The Welcome Book is out of date and sometimes a little too vague when referring to remote controllers which are no longer used etc
The staff are very young or very old and whilst the young ones are keen - but a little inept - the old ones are set in their ways and too "old school".
The car park is a long way from the entrance and there is no one to help with luggage.
The website boosts that the grounds are 7 acres but there are no documented walks for the grounds and I found them very limited and certainly not 7 acres of perambulate!
The food was distinctly average and the Room Service menu is quite limited
My breakfast was burnt on Day three and the "waffles" offered on the menu looked suspiciously like Sainsbury's not the big American fluffy ones I was expecting
The staff were very willing - but needed reminding when requests went in

"I used to go to school here fantastic presentation"
We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by.
It was an emotional visit for me as i last saw the hotel as my boarding school in 1968 I also fount my initials carved on a wall I remember this even after 48 years The hotel was fantastic we enjoyed our stay for one night and had a lovely breakfast. The only disappointment was the evening meal We did now want anything grand so chose the bar menu
The burgers were very disappointing for the price and the curry tasted like a packet meal!
Overall we hade a lovely stay and would like to revisit again in the near future

I have stayed here in the past and was very very happy with the whole package. Staff are always smiling and happy to help. Conditons are excellent and clean. To have a pool as well just gives it top marks and a thumbs up from my daughter and grandson.
Food as always was plentyful and fresh.

We had an amazing stay over the weekend. Can get noisy on a Saturday night but with window shut you can not hear anything. Staff were amazing and completed every request fast and with a smile (needed a shower mat and fan). Food was very nice. This hotel was very reasonable and you get lots for the money. Will stay again

We love Tylney Hall so much and our recent stay was our fourth. Will definitely be coming back again. The hotel is incredible & set in the most beautiful grounds. The spa is lovely and very relaxing and all the staff are great.

Had a lovely stop off on a long trip.. Very friendly welcoming staff, no hassles with my dog.. Went out of their way to prepare a late meal for us. Excellent leisure centre lovely pool and very friendly non resident too!! Would have happily stayed longer.. Rooms were fairly standard but with decent soft furnishings. Bathroom tho very clean was a bit tired... Hence the not perfect score.
