Older hotel, stayed here 10 years ago. Close to everything which is why I picked it again. Helpful staff, the doorman was a joy. Spa bath was awesome. Bed was comfy and pillows great.

Great location! Higher back rooms are quiet and overlook the cemetery. Staff is helpful - allowed early checkin and recommended the tourist hop on hop off bus BUT room that was to have two queensized beds only had two twin sized beds and no washclothes. BTW I covered up the lights on the airconditioner to darken the room.

"comfortable, reasonable price, & good location"
I’ve stayed at the Bel Air twice now and enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Breakfast is included. Supermarket and other ammenities are close. 1 block from Av. Santa Fe (shopping street), few minutes from Plaza Francia (Recoleta), Plaza San Martin/Retiro (transportation hub), and walking distance to city center. Taxis easily available. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

"Comfortable Hotel"
This was a very nice hotel one block in from the main road. The road the hotel was on was not that busy, but it was easy to catch cabs on the main road. There is a bar/nightclub a few doors down, but it wasn't noisy or crowded. The hotel is secure with 24/7 front desk and they lock the door in the evening, although the neighborhood felt fairly safe. The hotel restaurant is more like a cafe than a full blown restaurant and there is no bar. The breakfast was OK; the usual croissants, breads, yogurt, and juice. When we first checked in they didn't have a room available for us because the previous guest had not checked out and was nowhere to be found. It was a bit of an inconvenience, but the hotel booked us a room for the night at another hotel and paid for our taxi both ways. Not much else they could do, and it wasn't the hotel's fault. The staff was very apologetic and nice about it all. We stayed in room 33, which was huge and very comfortable with mood lighting. It was clean and nicely decorated, but the bathroom was a bit small. We had no views since the windows faced at another building wall, but the comfort and spaciousness of the room made up for the lack of a view. There was a big flat screen TV that swiveled around to face the bed or the living area, which was a nice feature. Word of caution for those who need to iron clothes, there was no iron in the room and when we called the front desk for one they didn't even seem to know what an iron is.

"Nice Hotel in barrio La Recoleta."
Been there 4 nights over the weekend. Travelled with the missus and the youngest son in order to attend a Sabbath gig down there. Very far from the venue but a cool and traditional neighbourhood called la Recoleta, not so far from the capital downtown. You've got the Santa Fé avenue down the corner, walking a couple of blocks there's the Callao avenue where you can catch the underground train, cheap and dependable transportation. Lots of meat restaurants, wineries, libraries and ladies clothing stores.

Barrio Norte is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Barrio Norte, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Barrio Norte hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
