"Nice Hotel "
The staff was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we checked in until checkout they were super accommodating! They even exchanged my USD into Pesos for me. They made fantastic recommendations for excursions and outings. They have the best view of the lake, and you can easily walk on the trail. We walked into town one night. Get up and watch the sunrise. It was the most beautiful sunrise I had ever seen! Downside - half of the rooms don't face the water. If you're counting on a room with a view, don't. I had a view of the parking lot next to the main doors. It was pretty loud. And my room had some sort of furnace or heater underneath it and it was incredibly hot. I asked the front desk, and they brought me a portable air conditioning unit which both decreased the temperature of the room, and provided ambient noise so I didn't have to listen to all the comings and goings!

"No fan or AC which made the room quite stuffy. "
No fan or AC which made the room stuffy. Felt like I woke up in a sauna. The next night I slept with the window open but there is no screen to keep mosquitos away. The location was excellent! So convenient to bank shops and the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

"Great value"
The hotel isn't dead in the centre of the town but it's still close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants easily, plus it is very well kept, clean and modern with pleasant and attentive staff.

A great hotel very well located in the center. The facilities are outstanding, the rooms are rustic on the small size. The new Hummus Bar Restaurant has a great ambiance and outstanding food and service. The breakfast is superb a bit on the sweet side.

"Patagonia Comfort "
We loved everything about our stay at La Cantera. It is a smaller hotel with terrific staff. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a tremendous soaker bathtub and bath salts. We slept very soundly in our very nice king bed wth comforter. The staff spoke English well, and were very helpful in organizing transfers and tours. The hotel kindly provided a transfer service to downtown during the dinner hours, with a terrific driver. Breakfast was fine, as were dinner options. We loved the decor and furnishings.

"Over all Alto Calafate"
Everything was good. I have nothing but good things to say. (except) Room Comfort: #1. Room 228: When weather is comfortable, temperature reached almost 80F, could not open the window for fresh air and there is no room fan either. Since window mesh (net) is old and broken in places, the bugs started crawling in thru them moment window was opened. #2. Room 706: Since all Aerolineas Argentina flights were cancelled on Feb 25, 2017 Saturday afternoon from El Calafate airport (FTE), I have to go back to Alto Calafate, the staffs were nice enough to accommodate me for the night. Now I find a nice fat juicy Spider in the bathroom. No problem with the window mesh. In both cases I did not bother to complain to the staffs, it seemed so snotty!! Thank you

Bahia Redonda is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bahia Redonda, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bahia Redonda hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
